Nyalusa Vhukoni
This is a group of fifteen Tsonga women in Bodwe village in Limpopo North. They specialize in making contemporary fertility dolls inspired by Tsonga culture, fabrics and bead work. Besides dolls, they make beaded wall hangings, wooden spoons and clay objects, fired in the traditional open-fires outside.
Also available for music and dance performances
The women are very artistic, which is also expressed in the way they dress. They are good drum players, available for music and dance performances in their village and for tourists who visit them. This group is a social support-network of women who support each other in true Ubuntu-culture, in their daily lives.
